🎓 My Graduation at HEC Paris: A Day to Remember

On June 14th, 2025, I had the privilege to live one of the most emotional and meaningful moments of my life: my graduation ceremony at HEC Paris.

After months of intense learning, personal growth, and countless hours of remote collaboration, we finally gathered on campus to celebrate the Class of 2025. As part of the December 2023 Executive MSc in Innovation and Entrepreneurship cohort, this day held a special meaning. For many of us, it was the first time we were able to meet physically after months of studying remotely, with classmates coming from the four corners of the world. Despite the distance, we had already built strong bonds throughout the program — and this day made those connections even stronger.

A Historic Edition

This 2025 edition of the commencement ceremony was placed under the sign of audacity and engagement.
On June 14th, over 6,500 guests gathered on campus:

  • 2,016 graduates,

  • accompanied by 4,490 family members and friends, to share together this unforgettable milestone.

An exceptional level of participation made this event even more unique, with 92% of graduates present on June 13th and 87% on June 14th — a record-breaking attendance!

Behind the scenes, an incredible team of staff, volunteers, and organizers worked tirelessly to make this celebration possible. A huge thank you to all of them for their dedication and flawless organization.

A Powerful Message for the Future

One of the highlights of the ceremony was the inspiring speech of Jean-NoĂ«l Barrot, French Minister for Foreign Affairs and proud HEC alumnus. His words strongly resonated with many of us as he spoke about the responsibility that comes with knowledge, and the role we all have to play in defending science, academic freedom, and civic engagement: “Professors are an elite — the special forces of science.” “We need more research. More academic freedom. More science, not less.” “We need you. Your talent, your energy, your drive”

His speech was a strong reminder that HEC Paris is not only a school of business and management, but also a place committed to openness, responsibility, and the advancement of knowledge for the greater good.

The End of One Journey — and the Beginning of Another

This graduation ceremony was not just the conclusion of an academic program, but the closing of a truly transformative chapter. Beyond the academic achievements, it was a human experience — full of learning, discovery, new friendships, and lasting connections across countries and cultures.

I’m now proud to officially join the global HEC Alumni community and excited to carry these experiences forward as I open the next chapter of my journey.

Grateful for this incredible experience — and excited for what’s ahead.
